Well, kind of anyway. Around these parts, it can be 50 degrees today and 103 tomorrow! Gotta love Oklahoma.
As you can tell, I haven't updated here in a while. Not much exciting going on, actually its down right depressing at times. My car has been being "fixed" for the past 3 weeks. I just "heard" today that the transmission needs to be fixed. So, on top of the previous $1000 I have spent-it may be another $1400 or so. Ugh! It's not like I have places to be or anything between work, grocery shopping, bill paying, football games/practice,etc! I HATE not having transportation, like w/a passion. Its unnerving.
Weight loss-I am down 92lbs right and a little frustrated. I just want to hit that 100. But, I can tell you right now that once I hit 100...there will be another illusive need to get to some other magical number. The bottom line that I want people to know is that once you lose weight, you must come to terms w/other issues in your life. I use to blame EVERYTHING on my weight...not being able to keep up with stuff-must be my weight... I am needing to get to the Dr. to discuss my potential ADD (self) diagnosis & possible solutions. But I need a car to do that...ugh.
Concentrating on eating low carb right now, it's the only way I will ever see -120.
I really need to begin counseling, but again no car + that can get expensive. I am just working on trying to work out more for now. I will see if that helps my moods any.
That is about it for now. Nothin too exciting at all! I wish I had something more positive to add.
Angel i noticed you were following my blog (Life's a Journey) and thought i would pop in on you and see who is following me. First let me say that the title of this Blog ADD - struck a cord - never in my life have i felt so distracted. Now is my life any different that it was years ago or is my perception of it just different - either way merely opening the dishwasher can turn into a load of laundry, cleaning out my closet and pulling weeds (i can see them out the window when i am by the dishwasher) and that all stemmed from an item that needed to be put elsewhere in the house. YIKEs i almost always have 16 projects/tasks running consecutively - so i HEAR ya! I do have a trick and when things get to be too much i set a timer for 15 minutes and work on one task for that length of time - no exceptions no leaving the room - try it. As for you car troubles, i have been there too - hope you have good friends to get you through this rough patch. But most importantly 92 pounds - WOW what an accomplishment - all of your post should start off with "hey have i mentioned i lost 92 pounds" Now i would never tell someone not to get counseling because i think it is fantastic - but lady cut yourself some slack - in this post alone i see a capable, strong well spoken lady - take pleasure and pride in what you have accomplished thus far - raising two boys with a husband is tough but alone while working full time and taking classes is a small miracle - i have the title for your next post "I am woman hear me Roar"
